more railroad tracks

Is he the cutest?! How adorable are toddlers hanging out on railroad tracks?!! This is my little guy. My older one. And look at the gorgeous sunset light on him in the walking away shot. It's so warm and orange.

It's amazing how fast they grow up, how much they change, how much they still need us but at the same time, barely want to admit it. I LOVE photographing ages 2-3. It's absolutly one of my favorites. Certainly not the easiest ages to photograph (and definetly not when it comes to my OWN children!!) but so rewarding when you get that moment of a glimpse from them into their real personality.
