I met this adorable 3 month old and his sweet, beautiful mother for a session just for him. Big brother was out of the house, it was his special time to get all of the attention. When I first arrived, he was ALL smiles. Smiling when we would just look at him, practically rolling in laughter when we'd talk or smile at him... once I got out the camera, the smiles were a bit more difficult to come by!


Sometimes I think that at 3 months, they get overstimulated so easily. Really, I have found that even babies... maybe 4ish weeks can sometimes be like that. Just easily overwhelmed, overstimulated with my presence, my camera, the demands of... being cute.
We did get a couple of GREAT smiles, and they were just gorgeous...

But more often, we got the serious side of this very sweet little boy.

And my absolute favorite:
