"No!! My not want to wear scarf for pitchur! Nooooo!!!" Ah, the trauma...

Have a wonderful weekend.

the best of the best

We all know about my orange bucket but this one's just amazing:

As a photographer, I can say that personally, the most gratifying and rewarding images are usually individual captures or interactions between two or three people.
Many photographers thrive on and do wonderfully with family session after family session. I am not one of those photographers. While I'm happy to include several "family" images in any individual portrait session, large groups aren't my specialty.
Well, it's the family session time of year. And I am so blessed to have this family in the midst of the rest of the craziness of family sessions to help keep things in perspective.

I can honestly say that THIS particular family is an ABSOLUTE joy to photograph. SO many (and I mean so so so many!) images of them together, interacting, being as cute as they naturally are... I LOVED this session. Absolutly loved it. (This is the follow up to a session that got rained out a bit ago.) A few of my favorites:

a little something

Okay, the blog has been a little quiet lately. I've been swamped! This time of year, it's absolutly expected. The release to display the images and post them on line is not required as not every client wants to be featured here (although most DO!) and those that do are waiting patiently... like this client!

Don't laugh at my verbiage here but I needed to take a break from my process of proofing and get something a little something more... artsy fartzy out of my system. I love this. I suppose it's not easy to see all of the detail and texture here though. Here is a closer-up crop from the above image. This client prefers black and whites in general (and generally, I do too) but this one is just too fun in color!

More of these cuties to come. I'm not slacking too much with processing, really. Timelines are still about 1.5-2 weeks from session to viewing/ordering appointment even with the higher volume. Check back again soon- more to come, always!
