little surprises

I'm working dilligently on some little surprises for the group of clients putting orders in right around now. Everything goes in spurts, it seems. It works out well for me, I like to have several sessions at once, proof them all about the same time, then put in several orders at once, it's a good flow. I have many little "gifts" in the works for the upcoming orders and deliveries. I get so excited. I just made something fabulous today for this little boy. He was literally one of the few easiest, most laid-back toddlers I have ever photographed. So something special will be included just for him. :) I'll post some shots in a few weeks when it all comes in.

Is this baby just incredibly gorgeous?! Her parents and I have a little history. We have been looking to move locally and were trying to buy their beautiful house. We've recently hit a few snags. Okay- big snags. I look at these images of her and think of how wonderful the shoot went, how sweet and kind her parents are, and feel thankful to have found them, their house- and her, with the all-time cutest belly button. There's still a shred of hope in the house sale situation. Keep your fingers crossed for me- and them-- all of us. Moving, buying and selling a home- it's such an emotional roller coaster, and a pricey one! So hard when things go wrong.
